Avoid Burnout at Work

Cited from 'Avoiding burnout at work' from Lynda.com

  1. Start talking. Ask the team members how they are feeling. Probe and pay attention to what they say and how they act.
  2. Slow down. Prioritize projects or goals.
  3. Provide support and resources. Use quick huddles, voice mails and emails to share good news and keep people in the loop.
  4. Say thanks and that employee's work matters. Make employees laugh and become more efficient.
