2. Ask probing questions. Strive to ask questions, instead of always rushing to give someone the answer they seek. Engage in a dialogue dominated by thoughtful questions designed to push and prod the employees.
3. Facilitate team improvement. Each performance period, identify 1 or 2 team processes or behaviors to target.
