Hired the Wrong Person

  1. Monitor the first few months closely;
  2. Find a confidant;
 3 Months in, what are the two or three things they really should be learning now?

 6 months is enough time for the vast majority of professionals to get near full productivity.

  1. Don't pass the buck
  2. Be helpful
  3. Assist with their job search if possible
  4. Speak to the team and list to feedback for what went wrong
  5. Relaunch the search to find the right person
