Work Life Balance

Cited from "Developing work and life balance" from Lynda.com

  1. Schedule downtime (time for not doing job but having fun) and put it in the calendar. Don't neglect it.
  2. Work very hard to achieve better and better 'fit' in your career. Fit is comfortable alignment between your interests and skills and the needs of the job. Next time when you evaluate a new role or a job that come your way, don't get lost thinking about the prestige of the company. Don't get lost thinking about how nice the raise sounds. Instead, ask whether or not this opportunity honestly moves you towards a higher level of fit. Find work that genuinely fits you.
